Shane Gring is a mission-based entrepreneur seeking to even the odds for future generations by building movements, bringing people together, and speaking up.
His career journey began building healthy, sustainable affordable homes for low-income families with Habitat for Humanity in Colorado. From there, he “started-up” BOULD, a social enterprise delivering project-based sustainability education for developing professionals. In three years, BOULD provided green building training for over 400 developing professionals, while also supporting over 40 LEED-certified affordable homes across 10 states.
Now at U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), he’s leading the creation of a social equity sustainability framework that is transforming how communities “advance” the buildings and places they love around the globe.
