Alex Bryan

Alex Bryan is the Director of Agricultural Programs at the Greater Lansing Food Bank where he oversees two innovative programs supporting community gardens and farm business development, targeting a ‘hand-up’ model towards limited-resource families that would typically use the traditional food bank services. An AmeriCorps Alums National Leadership Award Winner, Alex is co-owner of Food Field, a 4 acre farm in the city of Detroit, and is a founding board member of the National Young Farmers Coalition. He serves on various community boards and focuses his energy at the intersections that exist in agricultural between for-profit and non-profit approaches to making sure everyone has access to Good Food.
